How do I put my Security Screen Door back on track

Security Doors are only secure when they are locked so unfortunately applying too much pressure to a screen door when you open or close it (or someone running into it when unlocked) can cause it to jump off its tracks. It’s usually fairly simple to place the screen door back in the track on its rollers so it works properly again.

  • What if my wheels aren’t spring loaded? The screwdriver can’t push my wheels up any further than they already are.

    • I think you are best to call a professional handyman if your wheels aren’t spring loaded. A professional will need to inspect the sliding screen door to consider the best way to get the door back on track without damaging it.
