The Cost of Fly Screen Doors

A standard size (950mm x 2100mm) Flyscreen Door in a standard colour range frame & charcoal fibreglass mesh will cost around $550. This approximate price includes the fly screen door being manufactured to precise measurements and properly installed to minimise gaps around the frame. The price includes a single lock and handle in black and bug seal along the bottom of the door to minimise access to your home from crawling insects.

The Cost of Flyscreen Windows

A 900mm x 1200mm flyscreen windows in a standard colour range frame & charcoal fibreglass mesh will cost around $130 per screen with a labour charge to be added, depending on how many flyscreen window screens are required for installation.

Variables That Add To the Cost of Fly Screens

There are a number of options you can choose to upgrade the quality of your fly screen doors & windows which will incur additional cost.  Some upgrades to consider are:

• Non Standard Colour Fly Frame – will cost approximately 40% more
• Pet Proof Flyscreen Mesh will cost approximately $70 extra
• Bush Fire Rated Fly screen Mesh will cost approximately $90 extra

• Handle Colour Matched to door frame colour will cost approximately $25 extra

Fly Screen frames are usually colour matched to your existing door and window frames.  If your current door and window frames are a standard colour then we will usually stock fly frame in your colour.  We are able to have fly frame powder coated to any colour requirement for an additional charge (usually around $200 for a small powdercoating job).

Replacing Fly Screen (Re-meshing)

SP Screens may provide re-meshing services for replacing fly screen that is damaged in the original frame.  Re-meshing is available to customers who purchase other screens. As SP Screen specialise in new screen installations, we are unable to offer re-meshing services to customers who are not purchasing new screens.  Prices for remeshing vary greatly therefore a quote is required to attain re-meshing pricing.
